Ray Bradbury On Writing

Ray Bradbury on writing: “My stories run up and bite me in the leg — I respond by writing down everything that goes on during the bite. When I finish, the idea lets go and runs off.”

  1. I wish it were that easy for me. I get story ideas inside my head, when I try to put them down on paper, the ideas get up an run away!

  2. Is the revision when the idea comes back as a zombie and tries to eat your brains? 🙂

  3. The revision is the current draft over the previous published one. When will it ever be perfect!

  4. RIP Mr. Bradbury. Thanks for your stories.

  5. What a man and what a writer! As all have said, RIP Mr. Bradbury, you will be dearly missed by all.

Love the quote you posted above Bradbury’s picture, Brian! That is awesome as were his tales.
